My Dad's Pizza & Deli

Got take out for two and was happy with our choice. The Hawaiian pizza was delightful, and much better than the “chain pizzas” around town. Pepperoni balls were top notch, too! The staff was friendly and quick upon arrival. Would recommend to others, and will definitely be back in the future!!

6/15/23 We are visiting the lake from north eastern PA. Ordered a large extra cheese. It was really good and fresh. A thicker crust with more thick sauce. Lots of cheese. The large is a 14" pizza, so it's not huge. It ran us only 13 and change with tax. Highly recommend.

I order from here OFTEN and have been for many many years! they have the best subs and wings hands down and the fresh dough pizza is great!

Spent a good deal of time trying every pizza place around East Erie. I went down the list of the different competitions and even tried them all from first to worst. The place always in first is a shop over by Penn State. It's disgusting. I ended up trying this place after getting coupons in the mail. They have two options, their "regular" dough and fresh dough. Their "regular" dough is a pre-made card board out of a bag. It's not the worst thing I have ever tried, I would say it's fine. Their fresh dough is really good. My only complaint would be that they don't let it rise long enough when they get it out of the fridge. Normally, you let it sit after taking it out of the freezer/fridge for 1-4 hours, depending on the thickness you want. However, they seem to just use it immediately. Therefore, the dough in the center is very hard and thin. It's not crispy. It's hard. That's just the first bite, but it can be disconcerting. As for the atmosphere, it is pretty ramshackle. You walk in, and all you see are tables, chairs, and a deli fridge all filled and stacked to the brim with the fake "regular" dough on the chairs and table and fresh dough and condiments in the deli fridge. There is no place to sit. Not if you wanted to eat or even while you are just waiting. Oh, the wings are good. And competitively priced. So, the fresh dough pizza is by far my favorite in East Erie. Prices are decent and the food is better. Give it a shot.

Great pizza! Perfectly crispy dough top and bottom. Ordered the BBQ chicken. Just the right amount of jalapenos for a spicy kick without overpowering the chicken, bbq, bacon and mozzarella. Courteous staff, made sure we had cups, plates and napkins on pickup.

My favorite pizza place. I always get pizza logs and my husband gets the wings. Never a complaint.

This was my first time trying My Dads Pizza...I thought I would never find a pizza i enjoyed as much as my childhood favorite which closed down many years ago ( Pio's Pizza on East Ave.) This pizza was the best i have had for many, many years and the menu and pizza shop atmosphere was like going back in time.
